- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking dish with olive oil or non-stick spray. 
- Wrap each pork chop with a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick if needed. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. 
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. 
- Add the bacon-wrapped pork chops to the skillet and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Remove from heat. 
- In the greased baking dish, arrange the sliced potatoes in layers. Sprinkle with onion powder, paprika, and a bit of salt. 
- Pour the heavy cream over the potatoes and top with shredded cheddar cheese. 
- Place the pork chops on top of the cheesy potato mixture. 
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove foil and bake uncovered for another 10–15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly. 
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, if desired.
