Creamy Garlic Pasta – Easy Lunch Recipes Everyone Loves

When the clock’s ticking and the fridge is suspiciously empty, creamy garlic pasta always comes to the rescue. It’s one of those easy lunch recipes that lives rent-free in my head because it checks all the boxes: quick, comforting, and somehow still elegant. The creamy texture gives it the kind of richness you'd expect from a much fussier dish. We’re talking minimal ingredients here, but maximum flavor—garlic, cream, butter, and a little pasta magic. I’ve made this on days when my brain couldn’t form coherent thoughts, let alone cook something fancy, and guess what? It never disappoints. It’s the kind of thing you whip up when you're craving something warm and cozy, but don’t want to spend your whole lunch break pretending you’re on a cooking show. Whether you're into creamy pasta recipes, looking for recipes quick easy, or just scanning for easy food to cook, this dish belongs in your rotation. It’s also a happy accident kind of recipe—the kind that forgives you if you eyeball measurements or forget to time the noodles. My kitchen, my rules, right?

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ tsp salt

  4. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  5. Toss in the cooked pasta and stir to coat every strand with that luscious sauce.
  6. Serve warm, topped with chopped parsley if you’re feeling fancy.
