- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until well coated. 
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. 
- Add the chicken to the skillet in a single layer and cook, turning occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked—about 7–8 minutes. 
- While the chicken cooks, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and chili flakes in a small bowl. 
- Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to low and pour the sauce over the chicken. 
- Stir well to coat each piece and let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes until it thickens slightly and clings to the chicken. 
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if using. 
- Serve hot with rice, noodles, or over a fresh salad.
