Ingredients

  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 lb deli roast beef, sliced
  • 6–8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Without separating the rolls, slice the entire pack in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  3. Layer roast beef evenly over the rolls, followed by the cheddar cheese.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese to form sandwiches.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush the mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake an additional 5–7 minutes, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, then slice and serve warm.
