- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
- Unfold the puff pastry and cut it into 8 equal rectangles. 
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. 
- Spoon a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each pastry rectangle. 
- Top with a teaspoon of strawberry preserves. 
- Fold in the corners slightly and brush edges with egg wash. 
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed. 
- Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if you’d like.
